Statistics on applications rejected

In the last 5 years, from 2001 to 2005, a total of 1,075 applications were rejected, with a decrease in the number for 2005 (359), compared to the previous year.  This was due to the decrease in the number of applications received in the year 2005.  However, there was an increase in the total number of rejections for traditional medicine and most were rejected due to the failure of the samples tested.  The details are shown in Table 23.
