How Calcium interacts with Fluoroquinolone Antibiotics

Calcium is capable of inhibiting the absorption of orally administered fluoroquinolones. Therefore, calcium supplements and milk/dairy products should not be taken concurrently with this class of antibiotics. (1) (2)
