Abstract

Malaysia is blessed with numerous T&CM practices which focus on traditional medicine originated from Malay & indigenous group, Chinese and Indians. Currently, more than 10,000 T&CM practitioners actively practise various disciplines of T&CM. Efforts are being made to standardize these practices to ensure public safety and various planning and implementation, are in progress. This paper will further explore the current effort made towards standardization of the practices.
