Abstract

According to TCM, the abdominal is close to the spleen, stomach, liver and other organs which are mainly related to obesity. Base on Shenque (navel) as the core in the abdominal, it contains a unified senior control system, which has the function of macro-control by the systemic role of the meridian that is interconnected among the spleen, stomach, liver and kidney. In line with this thinking, the use of the abdomen can be targeted as the selection of obesity treatment. Obesity is caused by a series of metabolic abnormalities, internal organs malfunction and binge eating. The purpose of abdominal acupuncture slimming is not only to reduce body weight and, more importantly, to improve the function of the internal organs so that we can enjoy a healthy life. Apparently, this abdominal acupuncture benefits everyone from all age and also gender, not just for beauty seeking women.
