Abstract

A total of 47 accessions of kacip fatimah (Labisia pumila) were collected from the eastern and northern states in Peninsular Malaysia. Statistical analysis was carried out on the morphological characteristics of kacip fatimah accessioins. The descriptor list was developed to facilitate the identification of the traits in the analysis. Analysis of variances on the morphological data revealed a significant difference among kacip fatimah accesions. The leaf characters also provided the most important features useful for distinguished the varieties of kacip fatimah.
