Studies report that lemon balm may act in the body like some of these medications, which may alter the effects of these medications and possibly the dose needed for treatment. Use with caution. (1) These drugs include atropine, belladonna, benztropine mesylate, buclizine, cyclizine, trimethobenzamide, diphenhydramine, dimenhydrinate, L- hyoscyamine, ipratropium, scopolamine, meclizine, methscopolamine, clindium bromide, glycopyrrolate, mepenzolate bromide, propantheline bromide, trihexyphenidyl, procyclidine, guanidine, neostigmine, pyridostogmine, edrophonium, ambenonium.
