Based on pharmacology: An animal study reported that constituents contained in bacopa leaf may antagonize calcium’s role in vascular and smooth muscle function, possibly potentiating the effects of these medications and the dose needed for treatment. Use with caution. (1) These drugs include amlodipine, bepridil, diltiazem, felodipine, isradipine, nicardipine, nifedipine, nimodipine, nisoldipine, verapamil.
