2.3.19.2 Analysis
Liquorice roots have been used mainly for its medicinal attributes. Total import values for the raw materials reached its maximum in year 2005 with a value of over RM 2.7 million and at a quantity of over 0.2 million kg. The cost per kg of the material at the beginning of the observed period was at its highest after which, it went lower ,, the lowest being about RM11.76 in year 2005.
