All of the included studies are RCT. | Out of 20 studies, 14 studies showed that acupuncture as well as trigger point and dry needling alone has a positive feedback in reducing chronic neck pain compare to placebo or other treatment. 3 studies showed no significant difference while 3 studies showed that acupuncture only effective in reducing neck pain when combined with paraspinal dry needling and self neck-stretching exercises. |
