How Coenzyme Q10 (CO-Q10) interacts with Sulfonylureas

Some of these medications have been reported to possibly decrease coenzyme-Q10 levels in the body. However, tolbutamide, glipizide and chlorpropamide did not cause this problem. Supplementation with the affected nutrient may be necessary. (1)
