The wellness industry - as distinct from the ‘sickness’ industry - is destined to  become the next US trillion-dollar industry within the next decade or so. Finally, there is universal acceptance that an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of ‘cure’. Preventive medicine will, therefore, be a key health service to be  offered by medicine of the future.  Treatment using drugs to suppress the symptoms of chronic health disorders does not meet expectations of a well -informed public.. Individuals who are unwell wish to seek natural remedies to reverse their conditions. Those who are healthy may wish to get healthier and stronger. Currently, this medical offering is licensed under “complementary medicine” and its practice is regulated by the Traditional & Complementary  Medicine Division, Ministry of Health. The natural food- or spice-based ingredients used in the promotion of wellness  are too numerous to be listed in this short paper. However, the top twenty nutraceuticals prescribed to clients at author’s Wellness Center are curcumin (turmeric), gingerol (ginger), carnosic (Rosemary), hydroxy-citric acid (Garcinia Cambodgia), charantin (bitter melon), chromium (brewer’s yeast), resveratrol  (organic grape skin or peanut), polysaccharides (mushrooms), catechins (green tea),  allicin (garlic), bromelain (pineapple), OPC (grape seeds), lecithin and choline (soy bean), vitamin C (guava or bell pepper), isoflavone (soy protein), sulforaphane (broccoli sprouts), artichoke extract, EPA/DHA (deep sea fish oil) and RNA/DNA (sea algae)  The Paper presents how and why these nutraceuticals are being prescribed to clients who suffer from heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, allergies, asthma, tumor growth and a wide range of cancer.
