Chasteberry has hormonal activity, which may alter the effects of these medications and possibly the dose needed for treatment. Use with caution (1) (2) These drugs include norethindrone, ethynodiol diacetate, norgestrel, norgestimate, ethinyl estradiol, drospirenone, desogestrel, levonorgestrel.
