Based on pharmacology: In vitro studies have reported that constituents contained in devil’s claw tubers have antiarrhythmic activity which may alter the effects of these medications and possible the dose needed for treatment. Use with caution. (1) These drugs include amiodarone, bretylium tosylate, adenosine, dofetilide, propafenone, lidocaine, tocainide, flecainide, ibutilide fumarate, moricizine, quinidine, disopyramide, procainamide, mexiletine, verapamil, digoxin, propranolol, sotalol, esmolol, acebutolol.
