Based on pharmacology: Studies report that the caffeine content in green tea supplements may alter the effects of this medication and possibly the dose needed for treatment. De-caffeinated products are available. Use with caution. (1) These drugs include alprazolam, diazepam, lorazepam, clorazepate dipotassium, chlordiazepoxide, oxazepam, buspirone, doxepin, hydroxyzine, meprobamate.
