3.6.7.1 Overview

3.6.7.2 Analysis 

Quantities of cardamoms exported during the period were relatively stable and  the amounts inreased and decreased slightly  during the observed period.   Generally, the amount showed an increase and peaked at 133,170 kg in year 2007. The revenues obtained from the export of the products indicated an increasing trend from RM748,622 to about RM2.365 million. The unit cost per kg of export had an irregular profile during the years and it stretched from  RM6 to RM20.9.

The import-export cost per unit differences showed an irregular profile of negative values for years 2000 and 2002,whilst in the other years,  the unit cost values were positive. The lowest difference occurred in year 2002 at RM1.40 and the highest at RM9.96 in year 2005.
