2.3.2.2 Analysis
Cinnamon plants have medicinal properties. The useful part of the plant is the barks of its branches. The total quantity imported had a similar profile as that of the total value of imports. There is a small dip during the year 2003 the highest quantity imported was in 2007 reaching a value of 1.268 million kg. The price per kg of the product for the period observed ranged from RM2.44 to RM3.19.
