2.3.32.2 Analysis
Other vegetable products find their applications in the restaurant industry. The quantity of imports each year varied significantly. When the total value of purchases of the product was high, the import quantity appeared to be low. In 2004 and 2005, the quantities brought into the country were at 502,129 kg and 460,811 kg respectively. Generally the value and the quantity imported were declining slightly during the observed period. The lowest cost per unit kg of material was at RM3.48 and the highest cost was at RM9.42.
