3.6.36.2 Analysis
Resinoids are clear, translucent to yellowish brown substances of plant origin used mostly by the cosmetics and perfumery industries. They were exported in moderately large amounts from about 6,233 kg to about 30,631 kg. The quantities for the different years were not consistent and the l trend indicated irregular amounts. Export revenues showed similar pattern and its values had 3 peaks. The unit costs revolved around RM17 throughout the period except in year 2003 when it declined to its lowest value at RM12.55. The profile dipped in year 2003 otherwise the values were consistent.
Export-import unit costs differences were mainly in the negative except for year 2001 and 2004. The values showed that these products were also mostly used locally.
