2.3.24.2 Analysis
The stems and leaves of the sandal wood are usually distilled to extract its medicinal values. From the graph it can be seen that each year the total value of imports fluctuated, parallel with the total quantity imported. The total price during the period ranged between RM1.372 million to RM2.945 million while the quantity imported into the country ranged from 86,501 kg to 168,950 kg. The price per kg of product did not vary greatly and hovered between RM14.47 to RM17.43.
