2.3.9.2 Analysis
Seeds of Coriander are mainly used in cuisines and the seeds are grounded before being made into food preparations.
Import values of these seeds had been increasing since year 2000 and in year 2007, the price of the seeds reached RM3.44 per kg. However, the amount of seeds imported each year remains sluggish at about 10 million kg. The quantity fluctuated slightly for the years 2001 and 2003. Future imports may not be likely to increase, while value of imports seemed to be .on the upward trend.
