2.3.10.2 Analysis
The price values of these seeds fluctuated each year and there were 3 peaks during the 8-year period i.e in years 2000, 2004 and 2007duringwhich the unit prices per kg were RM7.93, RM6.13 and RM9.10 respectively. After 2005 the prices started to increase significantlyand, the quantities imported were slightly irregular with little variation in the amount. Throughout the period, the quantities did not exceed the 2.7 million kg band. Industrial activities using seeds of cumin remained unchanged from year to year and the situation be the same for the coming years.
