6.1.2.3 Sub-region: Southern Europe
Southern Europe includes Spain, Italy, Greece, Albania and Malta. Spain was the major importer of Malaysia’s raw material to this sub-region at (94%) of the total amount and Italy at (6%). The rest of the countries imported less than 1% (see table and pie-chart below). Spain and Italy imported some amounts of other spices, seeds of anise or badian and other plants and parts of plants used primarily for perfumery and other industries.
