The applicant is capable of listening, speaking, writing and reading in Chinese, especially in reading Chinese textbooks, and has obtained the sixth level in Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK).

Qualification of high school education (together with the corresponding copies of educational diploma or certificate and school reports) is required.

The applicant is below 25 years old. However the limit of age can be extended to a certain degree for special cases.
- An authorized health certificate is required.

Learning Outcome
On graduation, students are able to
- be all rounded individuals well versed in TCM and Acupuncture, Moxibustion and Massage therapy;
- master the basic theories, knowledge and skills involved in TCM and Acupuncture and serviceable knowledge of modern medicine in terms of basic skills and techniques;
- Skilled in utilizing theories and knowledge of TCM and acupuncture in the prevention and treatment of common ailments and acute illnesses besides being capable of conducting research based work; and
- have a basic command of a foreign language (English) and IT skills.

Besides learning the general subjects required, classes that are offered include Basic Theories of TCM, TCM Diagnosis, TCM Pharmacology, Formulas Of Chinese Medicine, Neurology, Point Location Techniques, Acupuncture Techniques, Literature of Acupuncture, Acupuncture in Treatment and Therapy, Massage Therapy, Physiology and Pathology, Biology, Materia Medica, Pharmacology, Western Medicine Diagnostics, Western Medicine Radiology, TCM Internal medicine, Traumatology and Orthopedics and other specialized courses.
